We start by slowing down, coming into breath before motion, and then building motion up from the flow of breath, smoothly transitioning from the floor to standing work. Options are given throughout the class for varying degrees of strength and/or flexibility. You will be encouraged to work at your level, honour your body and limitations, and go deeper when you feel you're ready in a non-competitive environment. These classes will help you become familiar with the foundation poses and flow of a yoga class. Look forward to a long savasana to close the class, and leave feeling restored, rejuvenated, stretched, and worked.
